  Mal, I believe you have mistaken me for another disgruntled customer. I'm the girl that came in with a heel tip that you hammered in so hard, the stiletto split along its shaft. You stood there and shrugged your shoulders telling me what happened to my shoes were to be expected. I stood firm and continued my complaint whereby you merely rubbed a dot of glue on with your finger, pushed my shoes back to me then turned your back. You never sent my shoes away to be fixed. Please don't YOU distort the truth. I left telling you that I will never set foot there again.

  Worst experience ever. Don't go here. All he had to do was change the heel tip and he couldn't do that. Split the heel completely by hammering it in too far. Boxed it up, took my money and didn't say anything. It wasn't till I got home that I saw the damage. I promptly retuned whereby he denied all responsibility, saying it was expected to happen as the heel was too thin. Yes, the style of the shoe was to blame as if he'd never seen a pair of women's stilettos before?! No warning of the risks beforehand should I proceed, no admittance of it when I picked up the shoes, no refund since he failed to do the job properly, nothing at all. Burberry $2000 heels gone + the cost he charged me! Thief. I'll shout it from the mountain tops so everyone I come into contact will know what happened.

  In response to the nasty review from L H LEE. As usual people who write stories like this always distort the truth. I am not going to go into all the details because i wouldnt remember them all. When she brought the shoes back in, the heel was snapped in half, so i fail to see how they would have left the shop in that condition without someone noticing. She also failed to say that i sent them away and had them fixed to her satisfaction. (we both paid half the cost). Obviously, from her review, she was not satisfied. I was totally unaware of her dissatisfaction until reading this scathing review. I have been serving the public in this shop for 26 years. We deal with hundreds of customers every week and try to offer the best service to each & every one of them, which i think we do as they keep coming back. Unfortunately you cant keep everybody happy all of the time.
